We as a bioinformatics lab have high-performance clusters, safe data storage, and illumina sequencer. Everything is in house, less than 100 meters from our office.
They provide fast turn around from cell to DNA to library to data analysis and publications. Meanwhile, they provide comprehensive training to students and trainees so that everyone can learn new skills in every angle of computational biology.
We also have priority access to three TAMU clusters and one Rice supercomputer, usually as backup computational resource or to test software development.
